Are you interested in learning more about the realities of the US/Mexico border and immigration?
Or perhaps you just want to participate in the work that God is doing down here?
We host small work teams (12 or less) that wish to come down either for a short service trip or for an educational trip.
Service trip availability depends on the needs and schedules of our partner ministries. These trips can range from one-day of “honey-dos” around the La Posada mission to a day or more of missionary medical clinics with Culture of Life. There also are possibilities for work with Isaiah 55, our partner in Mexico.
Learning trips are an opportunity to come down and see the border first-hand. Usually it can involve some time at the La Posada mission to meet people who have risked their lives to come to our country; to hear their stories. It is an opportunity to see the border wall and colonias – two border distinctives – and then to discuss what it looks like to be a face and name to the love of Christ down here on the border. Here is a photo journal of a learning trip.
