(*the time can be shorter or longer depending on specific situations)
Border Missionary Fellowship
Ideal for: college graduate, gap-year before grad school, individuals or families in job transition or considering full-time missions, anyone else looking to gain missionary experience and/or to grow more more deeply in their Christian faith
The Border Missionary Fellowship is an opportunity to spend a short season on our staff. Your time as a Fellow is divided between serving with one of our ministries; reading, learning, and discussing the beliefs and practices of historic Christianity; living life with others in a eucharistic, mission community; and general labor.
The goals of your time as a Fellow are to deepen your knowledge and experience of the Christian faith, to help you develop habits of daily prayer, to give you skills to live out the Christian faith vibrantly and deeply in whatever vocational context you may find yourself, to give you first-hand knowledge of the realities of the border and immigration issues, and to provide a context to think through these issues from a Christian perspective.

Border Missionary Partership
Ideal for: those with transferrable jobs (i.e. teachers, medical workers, internet based, etc.), those in job or life transition, retirees
Border Missionary Partners are individuals or families that wish to move down to South Texas for a year or two with the intention of living out their Christian faith in a missionary context in one of the poorest parts of the US. Our Missionary Partners work in their own field (or are retired) but serve with us along the border as well as participate in our Christ-centered, sacramental life and worship.
The goals of your time as a Missionary Partner are to deepen your experience of life in Christ, to renew and strengthen your faith through Christian service and participation in a Christ-centered, mission-focused, eucharistic community, to give you first-hand knowledge of the realities of the border and immigration issues, and to provide a context to think through these issues from a Christian perspective.
